Steve:
The majority of my woodworking is intarsia and I am starting to make some bandsaw boxes. The shaping is a lot like intarsia but you have to spend a lot more time finishing the piece.
A lot of my work is displayed in the following link:
http://groups.msn.com/Intarsia/welcome3rdtry.msnw
click on albums and then Dave's Photos.
The biggest piece I've done is JGR"s "African Adventure". approx 900 pieces with 1400 dowel ends between the reptiles, animals, birds and insects. It took 180 hours.
I would like to see some of your work as well.
Dave

p.s. wish I could figure out how to post a url link with this new format :(

Steve;
I viewed your entire Picturetrail site in Slide show mode.
Very nice work indeed.

Dave.
It is very easy to post a link here. When you are in reply mode, look up and you will see a list of icons. click on the url one and it will put

in your message area. Paste your link directly after that and click on url again and it will put
directly after it.
Hit peview and your live link will be there. Then hit submit.

Same thing for posting pictures except you use img instead of url. For a picture it has to be from a picture hosting site which gives it an htt:// address

...as I can't figure out how to post a link on this forum...

Hi Dave,

Do this type URL here

As well, so far as I know you can just put the URL in your message and it should appear as a hyperlink. www.woodchuckcanuck.com is an example.

Steve,

You avatar...kind of reminds me of the Republic of Newfoundland flag that was pre-1949. Shouldn't the orange be pinkest in color? I have the flag on my truck...you can take a Newf from the Rock but you can't take the Rock from the newf. :)

Oh yeah, I enjoy Intarsia too I just don't get much time to do it.

Oh yeah, you're right,,but I love the Irish,my last name is Lundrigan, and also when we leave where we live and drive for half an hour,we're up on the southern shore, and everyones really Irish up there, and we love the place. If I can get the pink white and green,I'll probably keep the Irish Flag.I hope I can go there some day,I do alot of reading about Ireland,,used to get the online paper,,,but I think that's quite off the topic..
So you're a Newfie too???My uncle lives in Glace Bay,,and every now and then we talk about moving,,,,some days to an outport here,,,and sometimes to NS or NB or Quebec,Anyway,,Great to talk to you ,,,Steve Lundrigan,,
