Just picked up a used Delta 40-150, at a garage sale. Couldn't resist at $35. It does work, but I am having trouble keeping the blade in the clamps. Any advice?
Also I did go on the Delta servicenet and tried to download the manual. Did fine with the exploded diagrams but the manual keeps coming back as a corrupted file. Any ideas where I might find a clean copy?

Hi guy, other than new clamps,is it any good to "scuff' the parts of the pads that contact the blade with a file?I'm not familiar with that saw though. The number part.I have a DeWalt and a Delta 16" Var speed. Is the clamping setup similar to either I have?Steve

Hadn't thought to scuff the clamp, slot for the blade looks to be a 32nd or less. Maybe a piece of emery would do, gently though.
I have talked to the people at Welbeck Mills Home Hardware. Seems one mistake I made was tightening the top screw right down on the clamp. Apparently supposed to leave about a 16th clear. Anyhoo, 'tis working now. I am still looking for a downloadable manual.
