It has been quite a long while since Canadian Woodworking has carried something more than very basic Intarsia patterns.
But here are three from 'way back.
1. Redtail Hawk
2. Wolf
3. "Can I Help?"

Very nicely done Bob! What issues are they from? The wolf reminds me more of my brothers Husky! He would probably like too it as he loved that dog for most of his childhood.

Would you like to see more intarsia/segmentation and fretwork patterns in the magazine?

Very much so. Intarsia at any rate.
Particularly if they are as good as these were. The past couple of years any and all intarsia patterns on offer were pretty basic, for beginners.

Sorry Ed. at the time, I scanned the patterns ( they needed enlarging) and the instructions.
No hint on what I saved, as to which issue it/they were from.

There's a fine article in Dec/Jan 2007 issue 45 on an intarsia "Haida Inspired Whale Mirror".
There's another fine example called an Intarsia Lighthouse in April/May 2004 Vol 7 No 2.
The Wolf is from Dec 1999, Vol 2 #5, not sure of the other two displayed above.

Nice work Bob. We have to try and take a little less time on the lathe and do some scrolling again.
Cheers
Mike
