Hi guys,

I just got off the phone with the Camfil Farr office in Ottawa. Here are the details I got.

Part #125154-005
$70.00 each (no discount on bulk purchases)
3 weeks for delivery
shipped from Montreal
approx. $30.00 for shipping

The lady I was talking to gave me a phone number for their Southern Ontario office in Concorde.

(905) 660-0688

In my opinion, it would be wiser for the lads down south to contact the Concorde office and purchase from there. Shipping will have to be paid either way.

My offer still stands to drive all Steve's motors down. Rajiv was crazy enough to offer some weirdo he has never met a place to stay. This will simplify things for Steve, as well. I can pick up my fan and some walnut while I'm down and maybe get to meet some of you guys.

Anyways, just some more food for thought...

Looks like Jarret-in-Ontario has come up with an even better solution for motor delivery.

I contacted Camfil Farr in Concord. Their price is $100.00 ea FOB Concord. It seems like a better deal to go through Montreal and have them ship it for $30 (It's $100 but I don't have to drive to Concord).

They did offer a discount of $13ea if we buy more that 20 (highly unlikely).

I believe Steve suggested that if he was building his system over again, he would install (2) filters. If most of us took that cue (I know, twice the cost - but probably twice the effectiveness) it shouldn't take too many people to put together an order for 20, and qualify for the $13.00 discount that Jean referred to. There may also be some who want a replacement for what they have. Maybe Steve has a few more comments on his recommendation that we should consider.

That said, since I'm probably heading south to pick up the motors at Leeson's in Mississauga, I could also pick up the filters on my way - pass right by Concorde. If the motor buyer and filter buyer lists match, we might kill the two proverbial birds at once.

If you're on the lists - please post your thoughts. Maybe Steve also has a few more comments on his recommendation that we should consider. Regards, Jarratt.

The concorde supplier would probably be ordering them from the Montreal warehouse. I think you hace to order from Ottawa or Concorde then they are shipped from Montreal. Ottawa wanted to ship directly to me because of the possible size of the order (2 per person). If shipping charges could be avoided by having them come in on a regular stock delivery to Concorde I think that would be the way to go. I think Jarret has the right idea.

Near Orillia, north of Barrie & Toronto. I sent you an email last night regarding motor pickup/distribution for southern Ontario buyers. Once we get Steve's info on preferred pickup areas for buyers, we can co-ordinate details. Also copied you on potential third distribution offer in Islington & Queensway area. Very central for GTA people. Regards, Jarratt.
