Do you have a Delta Midi Lathe ?

If so, can you please tell me your thoughts on :

(1) strengths
(2) weaknesses

Would you recommend this lathe to others ? I'm considering buying one.

The Delta Midi is a nice lathe. I would have no reservations in recommending it. I have had mine for about a year.

Strengths? Well yes it is strong, the motor is more than adequate, everything works as it should. You can get a bed extension if you want to do longer spindle work.

Weaknesses? I suppose it would be nice if it had a variable speed motor, although I cannot say I have really needed one, other than that, no problems. I think it represents good value, and you know were to get parts if that ever becomes necessary.
