Does anyone have experience using hide glue and newsprint to stabilize veneers while cutting marquetry? What temp should it be heated to and held at? How thick should the glue be when heated? Any help appreciated. Am currently using masking tape to hold veneers together, but I understand the hide glue and newsprint can be removed with a cabinet scraper after the marquetry is pressed.
Thanks!

You can buy it at Lee Valley.

If you look down to the price list you will see an "instr" link. That will pop up an instruction page that has the answers and you can save it or print it.
