Cherry Coffee Table

This is a picture of a coffee table I built a while back. It is made of 4/4 cherry cut from my own property air dried for 4yrs. The runners are hand pounded by my own hammer. The side rails are held on my copper nails and metal curls are fasened by copper rivets. All the wood was planed/ jointed/ shaped by hand accept for the round over on the main table top done by router. Just got a picture onto my computer so I thought I would try posting it.

Sorry for the poor quality picture. I spent 45min trying to resize it and keep quality and adventually got frustrated so here it is.

I don't know about Santa taking it for a ride but the kids love riding it while watching TV.
