Mandatory Location

Effective immediately, anyone registering will be required to complete the Location field.

Now, there's a rub to this. In order to make this happen, the Location field is also now mandatory if and when you update your user profile. If you already have a location entered, nothing will change. If you have no location entered, and want to update your profile, you will have to complete this section.

You do not need to be specific on location. The nearest city/town etc is fine.

Let's try it for while and see how it works out.

Good idea. Will you be denying applications that put 'wonderland' or 'north of 60' etc in that field?

Nope, but I expect peer pressure will have some influence. And there is always the Admin big stick.....

Steve, user name changes need to be made by Admins...but they're quick and easy to do, and nothing changes in terms of post, pics etc. Just shoot one of us a PM if you want to make a change.
