Overarm saw blade guard or something else

I have a Beaver Power Tools table saw with a generous outfeed platform and wings but no blade guard. I have been thinking about an overarm guard. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Tony.

I have an Excalibur overhead as well, along with a Merlin Splitter. Very Happy with this set up on my Unisaw. My Excalibur is the old style, whereas the new style easily can be swung out of the way for when you need to.
