crown assets in Ottawa auctioning off some good tools

For those of you in the Ottawa area google crown assets canada. Today is the final day of bidding on a general 350 TS a rockwell lathe and a couple of other interesting tools.

they show up almost every week , used to be deals , now the starting price is higher than what they sell for in the wild, so usually lately the selling prices
have been very high, I've herrd of a lot of poeple getting caught up , with
very high bids .
remeber it's a sealed bid auction
your max is your bid.
pick up can be a real pain sometimes.
Expect absolutly NO HELP at the pick-up point.
but hey , 80% of my machines have come from auctions

Yeah, I've been looking lately at the stuff that's sold, the prices can get insane. This guy bought a few guitar effect pedals that were way more than if I went to the music store and bought the same ones new. I don't understand the people that put down such high prices.
