3200 rebuild

Oh, okay. This one came out without too much trouble, so guess it's good to re-use.

Another weird thing I came across...big washer that I think is aluminum, deformed when I tried to bend it back into shape (didn't realize how soft it was). Came off the arbour. Steve, did yours have that? What's the purpose of a soft metal washer?

the fixed blade washer on the 3200 is brass for some reason, then the other blade washer is steel

It was between the bearing and brass blade washer (I think...).

hmmmmm, between the bearing and brass washer?.....

no reason for a washer there, the bearing sits on its own shouldered "gland" 17mm then the brass washer sits against its own 5/8 gland, and the blade washer should be snug against the bearing inner race, so no need for a washer inbetween

imho, go without it. its not shown on the parts diagram and isnt present on either of my my 3200's
