Hey all. I finally am getting around to listing a few more planes for sale. These have all been refurbished by me. My refurbishing includes cleaning and sharpening to 8000 grit. All soles are checked for flatness and are within 3 to 4 thou. Blade backs are lapped flat, bevels honed, chip breakers properly mated and planes fully tuned and adjusted. Knobs and totes are cleaned (never sanded) and refinished if necessary.

First is a great little #3. Has some jappaning missing. Also has some discoloration to sole and sides, but it's not pitting. Rosewood high knob and tote. 3 patent dates behind the frog and blade that has Stanley patent AP'L 19, 92. Has the frog adjustment and small blade adjustment knob. It has a newer lever cap with the rectangular logo. A great user, takes fine shavings! Asking $70.

Next is a Stanley #4 perfect type 11. Very clean with almost 100% original japanning, full length blade with the V logo, 3 patent dates, clean body. Rosewood low knob and tote in great condition with only a few minor dings. A real beauty and highly collectable type 11 plane. Asking $90. SOLD

Also have a fantastic #4 type 16. Great condition with about 90% japanning, rosewood high knob and tote in fantastic condition. Sides and sole very clean. A fantastic smoother that takes fine shavings. Asking $85.

And last but certainly not least, a fantastic #5 type 6. This very early type is very hard to get in this condition. It has about 75% japanning, Rosewood low knob and tote in great condition with only one minor nickout of the top of the tote. Very clean sides and only some very minor pitting on the sole that certainly doesn't affect use. Has the Stanley patent info on the inside of the recessed depth adjuster. A fantastic 120+ year old plane that has been restored to take perfect shavings once again. Asking $110.

These planes have been tuned to work perfectly, and are ready to use and take the finest shavings once you receive them. You can get planes for cheaper, but will have to spend hours yourself fettling them, and thats if your lucky enough to get a decent plane to start with. Save yourself the time, hassle, and guesswork. I have done it all for you!

And a helluva job you do Ryan. I still smile every time I use one from the arsenal. The other day I had to take a whisper off a piece of hardwood floor to meet up with the tile in a doorway. It was the last piece and the guys were itching to go. They didn't think I could do it. Couple of swipes, perfect ribbon, and DONE.

Thanks again Ryan. Getting you to set em up was worth every nickel. I love sharpening and fiddling but I just can't find the time.

Please PM me if interested in the #3 or the #5. That very early #5 is hard to find in that condition!
