does anyone know of a woodworking space for rent in North Toronto? (Steeles/Bathurst area)

Did you contact Humber College? They offer ConEd and after taking some basic courses are able to work on your own. Also they may be able to direct you to a rental space.
I still think the Franklin Horner is hands down the best deal going for cost be maybe a bit far for you. http://franklinhorner.org/
