Hi, I have for sale a 10 inch Delta contractor table saw. This saw comes equipped with a 30 inch Unifence system including the associated side table extension. The motor is 1 and a half horsepower when wired for 110V and 2hp when wired for 220V. I currently have it wired for 110V so I can demonstrate the unit. This saw is one of the last ones made in the USA. Very accurate and reliable. Lightly used and well taken care of. The mobile base shown in the picture is not included.
My price of $450 is firm. This is a very good quality saw. The only reason I am selling it is because I was given an older Unisaw for free and do not have the space to keep both . Thanks, Tim PS. I am located in Waterloo, Ontario Last edited by TimK; 11-05-2009 at 01:53 PM. Reason: Location Update |

I don't understand where the extra 1/2 hp comes from. Anyone have any ideas? |

A new Unifence is close to that, without the saw.
Half a horse power isn't much anyway, how much power could half a horse have ? Phil

Hi Everyone...the horsepower rating is right off the motor itself. I know this has been discussed a few times in the past by other members. Supposedly Delta (or whoever makes their motors) has extra windings available when running 220V hence the increase. I just ran out to the garage and the motor label actually says 1 1/2 to 2 hp...with the following amp ratings 12.8 at 110 and 8.6 at 220...so the amperage certainly coincides with the extra hp.
As far as price, I think this is a fair price...the Unifence alone is worth over $400. Thanks, Tim |

Tim while I'm not in a position to buy a location might be helpful for anyone that is.

![]() All the stuff I ever looked at that was switcheable from 110 to 220, simple had half - or double - the amperage rating on the lable when switching from one voltage to the other.

Hi Tim,
Tim, I think you may want to reconsider your price, I had the same saw you have now for sale and I got $300.00. Guys out there do not care whether it has a Uni-fence or not. I had several items on my and the guy that bought my didn`t want, items are graify zero insert, rivifying knife w/ anti kick backs, and belt that is worth 50.00/ft. at Leevalley. Good Luck. I sold my Delta Contractors saw with the 30 inch Unifence last year for 400 US, so I would tend to believe that 450 is not out of any serious buyers range.

Hi Robert,
Wow..$300...that's quite a loss on a tool. I based mine on 45% of new (my orig cost), which I thought was the norm for resale on tools...especially better quality items. I'd likely cave in at $400 but much less..hmm I also look at it as what else is out there at this price. Tim |

Tim... I would stick to my guns. There is always wiggle room but I wouldn't drop much.

Thanks Brian..I appreciate the insite.
I always find it tough to price out used tools...I don't want to come off greedy, but I also hate, in essence, giving things away. Tim |
