    Re: Strange characters in messages

There ARE bigger things in this world to worry about, aren't there?
Paul Smith and Jacques Leclerc like this.
    Noel

"Being so impressed with the beauty of nature, I never cease to be amazed at how the
'touch of the human hand' can transform it into another kind of beauty that is so uniquely human.

If there aren't, then we're doing pretty good ...

          Re: Strange characters in messages

No issues here except the Hitachi F1000A links in another thread would not open and just displayed an "invalid file" message.

I run Win7 Pro 64 and will never run anything else from Windows.   I've been using Deep Freeze by Faronics for years, so one reboot reverts everything to where I last set   it.

If you're sick of Windoze BS then Deep Freeze is the way to go.   Only about $45 for a perpetual license per computer.     Made right here in Vancouver BC.     Have a look at who their corporate customers are.

By the way, this site seems to have extremely limited posting options; is there a reason for that?   (No embedding of links etc. etc.)

Whoops!   Looks like the crap is in this post too.

Not sure where this site is hosted now, but a decent webhost offers tech support.   This needs fixing; do we need to chip in to get that done?
