    Machine restoration threads and woodworking build threads are my favourite, but I am on the forums enough I will usually click through and read any new threads or responses.

      True, machine restoration is also a favourite of mine. It seems to appeal to our sense of value and appreciation of our machines.

            Also anything that solicits opinions ("what's a thread you will always click on")??

              I'm of the opinion that is the main purpose of the forum, sharing knowledge.
