Sander arrived safely this morning by the grace of god. According to the tracking it changed trucks five times going through various depots before being delivered to me. Nobody along the way seemed to notice it was not attached to the pallet in any way. It had wandered over so that the base was about one inch overhanging the pallet on one side. The pallet is considerably smaller than the upper part of the sander, they did not lower the tables before shrink wrapping so it was very vulnerable. I was scared backing it out of the truck because my forks were so close together to get into the little pallet. The truck driver actually kept hi hand on it till I could lower it down. I am a pro truck driver and I would never of accepted the skid, it is incredible that five truckers and four depots handled this skid. It is a beautiful machine!

That isnt the shipping companies fault its the seller. They should have known better than to send it like that in the first place. Then the driver that picked it up should have refused it to begin with.

that saw was made by henry power tools of london ontario. porter cable resold them under their lable. there are portercable/henry power tools jointers, lathes and drill presses as well and maybe others

henry power tools was also known as craftmaster and was available from several US retailers including montgomery wards(right next to the beavers!)

I think it is the model 3200....but the fence is wrong for this saw, might be for the 2200 model if so would'nt mind to have that fence at all.....
