the henry bandsaw is one of nicest 12 inch saws, that and the little beaver 2300

the only issue with the henry is that the lower wheel is only fastened with one bolt, no key or set screw to prevent it from spinning on the lower spindle if the bolt loosens. i've rebuilt two of them, and added a set screw to the backside of the wheel to bear on the spindle in which i ground a very small flat for the setscrew. then doubled up the set screw

i wish i hadnt sold them, much better saw than my present 12 inch saw, a 1935 walker turner rebadged by beaver
my shop is a beaver lodge

        I think I have one, don't I?
Haven't seen it in almost 2 years, I bought a house and am only just finishing up my workshop now (there was nowhere to store it on the new property). I might upgrade to a 14" with much larger resaw capacity (13"), if I do did you want me contact you about buying it back? Can't make any guarantees at the moment but I can give you right of first refusal if you wish!

I now know where a 5hp 220v motor is... ugh

short bed... otherwise I would have probably paid for it already, and be making a road trip.

what does short bed mean how long are they ? My SCM stuff is 69" and you can do any length on that with support both sides. see 63" now looking at it again you can do anything on that.

What band saw does this look like? No brand mentioned, 16” and ts fairly local to me. Anyone know? Worth 250?

I think the house are both Taiwanese in origin.
Look like copies of delta to me.

No clue what they're worth, I think pass on the rusty one.
