It is not an auction, it is sealed tender sale. There are rarely super deals with that format as the site is widely followed. Esoteric stuff may go cheap but popular items like this does not.

Beaver 3200 Table Saw near St. Catherines with two extension tables, long fence rails, and the original cast iron legs for $100. I was giving this some serious thought, but it's a bit far to drive and I ended up finding one closer without the extensions at a better price. Seller misspelled Beaver as "Bever", so it may not be turning up in some searches.

I think this the oldest power tool I've seen on Craigslist here in Vancouver. Looks like a classic 1947 Delta scroll saw.

Nice old machine with a good patina. The price is right too. Not sure that I could get my wife to help me load into our pickup though

Both of you will need some training before trying to load that bad boy.

Now that’s a lathe. You should get it.

Hah! As much as I would like to get it, its much too impractical. The chucks alone look massive. It is an interesting lathe though and apparently a rare one. Vingtage machinery has no information at all on McCoy Machinery Co. The lathe itself looks to be No 8, so there are presumably at least 7 more.

Practical schmactical. It’s cool and only $1300 CDN. Think of all the square things you could turn round. Your wife would love you for it. And besides, I’m out of range, so almost completely untouchable.

That actually is really pretty. I wish I had a store to display it in I wonder how much it weighs.

They have the same one at Schell Lumber in Stouffville, still in everyday use.
