If you're looking to take up or polish your hand tool woodworking, this is the seminar for you. Successful woodworking relies on the ability to manipulate wood and use hand tools efficiently and safely. During the session you will practice various hand tool techniques and you will make a practical and useful piece of furniture - a traditional Shaker stool. The project will include joinery and construction techniques commonly found in furniture and cabinetmaking and includes traditional Shaker wood embellishment that will be executed entirely by hand. Also, will be discussing the principle of Shaker furniture design and philosophy and why certain types of joinery or wood embellishments were used – their strength and limitations. This is really a great, fun and challenging project that is a graduation project at many Hand Tools classes in North America. You will leave home with a beautiful and functional piece of furniture.

All tools and materials included (you are welcomed to bring your own tools).

Mike, I have moved this post to the swap meet section, the moderators will chat to see what we would like to do, usually we reserve this area for private sales. I assume there is a fee to courses it is difficult to find from your link.
    Thanks, Mark

The picture link didn’t work. Here is the events page of the website.

This course is certainly reasonable compared with others out there, sounds interesting, good luck with it!
