    Sunday, Nov 24, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m

If you're looking to take up hand tool woodworking, this is the course for you. Successful woodworking relies on the ability to manipulate wood and use hand tools efficiently and safely.
During this course you will practice various hand tool techniques with construction of a practical and useful piece of furniture - a traditional Shaker stool.
The project will include sharpening, hand cut joinery and construction techniques commonly found in furniture and cabinetmaking and traditional Shaker wood embellishment that will be executed entirely by hand.
Also, will be discussing the principle of Shaker furniture design and philosophy and why certain types of joinery were used – their strength and limitations.
This is really a great, fun and challenging project that is a graduation project at many Hand Tool classes in North America.
All tools and materials included (you are welcomed to bring your own tools).

    Pre-requisite: none

    Class size is limited
Please register early to avoid disappointment.
