  • Looking for strip brush

I am trying to find a Canadian source for a strip brush. This is the strips of bristles you would see on a cnc router dust shoe or the openings of table saws where the handles for blade adjustments are. I have found them on amazon but shipping is expensive or I have to wait almost a month to get it. All are out of China and there is a possibility shipping could be delayed due to recent issues. Any suggestions where I can purchase where I do not need a business license to purchase? Ideally I would like to have it in the next week and at a reasonable price. I need about 3 ft and prefer the flexible ones and not rigid straight ones. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Maybe try Cnc Automation. They are in Quebec and are very quick.

Jamie, you mentioned amazon but did you see this?

Edit: Oops! on looking further I see the express shipping is expensive.

          Thanks for the suggestions.

Darrin I checked them and shipping was $51.30. I thought it might come in around $20. Do you have a dust shoe on your xcarve?

Adrian I didn’t see the brush on there but have bookmarked that site for future.

Kenneth that’s the one on Amazon I was looking at. I think I’m just going to bite the bullet on the express shipping. It is the cheapest option to get within a week and I really don’t want to wait for a month.

I have the Kent CNC dust shoe out of the US. It's a great dust shoe, well built and worth the price IMHO. They make ones for the smaller routers used on the xcarve.

Hey Jamie. Yes I have one, it is from Inventables. It’s not the greatest, but I just noticed that they also sell just the brush.

I also found another place in the US that was recommended on the Inventables forum.

There are 2 brush manufacturers in Ontario I know of Select brush in Mississauga and Felton brush in Hamilton. Either can supply what you need.

I am not sure if they will select directly but we are distributors for both.
