  • Dust collection

Have several pieces that together make a very nice dust collection system. The blower is an IAP 3300 rpm (Industrial Air Products) unit with a 5 hp single phase motor turning at 3450 rpm. There is a 28” diameter x 63” tall Oneida cyclone and a baghouse filtration system w/nine 10” X 8’ filters. The baghouse has been shop built, but whoever did it, did a nice job. The bottom of the bag house has a plywood drawer to make emptying easier. There is also an enormous chip bin on wheels that is 4’ X 5’ X 8’, that is also shop built, but the inside is entirely lined with galvanized sheet stock. I have all the large ducting that hooks these components together. The cyclone alone is worth almost $2K.
I would like to get $1500 USD for all of this, and can hold it until the border re-opens, or, delivery may be an option. Click image for larger version

What are you replacing this with Paul? I hope that you are not closing up the shop.

Closing? Not in this life Erik. This collector was attached to the sander I am salvaging. Moving this along is a way I can get something for all of the time I am spending to save that big old sander.

Good to hear, I hope business is doing well. That would be a great deal for someone with the space and need for a serious DC system.

I realized I forgot to include the suction of this unit. IAP says it pulls 2400 CFM. Also, as in all things; if you don’t like my price, what’s yours? I’ll listen to any reasonable offer, and have listened to many unreasonable offers because of that policy. The worst that can happen is I say no.

This has received zero interest from anyone in the group so I’m closing this post. Too bad no-one wants it for $1500, I gave you all first kick at the can.

              Re: Dust collection

Keep in mind the bulk of the members are Canadian and up until very recently your borders were closed to Canadians driving across. That would mean anyone in the Maritimes Quebec or Ontario would have arrange for shipping it rather than come down to get it. Those to the west are in the same boat and would have to face a multi day drive so likely not cost effective. That's not to say it isn't a kick donkey DC but not really practical for us. Now the people on WoodWeb or Sawmill Creek are in your backyard and would be the ones to pitch it to.
