  • PEI to ottawa

    looking for help to move a machine that is Pottered at Eric Manchester's shop . Its about 250 lbs but Eric could say better. its a bench top drill press of sorts.

        Would be good to bring it back late August if you can wait that long Jack. Been to Erik's several times.

          I will probably be driving back from NB right past your place in the spring if you can wait that long and someone can get it to Sussex area.

          I will be doing a timberframing job in Sussex so maybe you can convince Eric to come for some timberframing lessons and he can drop it off!

              Brent I could wait till spring but you'll have to see if you can talk Eric into lifting big timbers .

                        Thanks Mike I think my voice tap and talk spelled his name wrong . I have a brother named Erik . If you could post pictures here would love love to see the pick up backstory to . If it wasn't for you I wouldn't of known of the machine thanks buddy

                          Stage 1 of the Rucker is complete and the mill is resting chez moi in PEI. It weighs 300 lbs and is an easy two man lift.

                          It is in very nice shape, Jack you will enjoy this tool, English made and all it will fit nicely in the Wadkin Temple.

                            Oh my God is that nice . I don't think that's ever been used . This machine was made until 2010 in England . Last price was 10,000 greater British pounds. What an excellent addition to the knife sitting room .
