  • Moxon hardware

Shiny new nickel plating on the hand wheels.
Just back from the plating shop.
Wanted to add a bit of HO Studley bling to my vice.
This is a Benchcrafted Moxon M(machined) hardware kit.
    Now for the wood part.
    Have a great weekend everybody.

Very cool! Which shops do this type of nickel electroplating?

The Moxon hardware looks great in nickel! You will have to show us pictures of it installed on a workbench. Thanks for sharing that with us (even if it makes my vise green with envy).

How do you ensure the screw doesnt get plated? (As presumably that would affect its function, right?)

              Re: Moxon hardware

I only gave them the handles for plating.
The shop filled the threads with wire so the nickel didn't get into them.
A little oil and they seem to work as they should.
              Have a good night.
