  • Garbage Trailer Plane Find

    I found this one in a garbage trailer, literally. I'm not a plane historian so I don't see any obvious marks. I spent a few minutes getting rid of the rust. It was actually quite sharp as found. My #3 as reference.

    Edit: the frog is green like the lever cap

      Strange there's no name on it, the sole casting look fine to me and well finished, I think I would find it a pleasure to use

        Looks like a No.4 probably a cow cost e g " handyman range " plane again probably made by Stanley for a department store hence no name. The iron CDN once again a guess, but by Stanley at Roxton Pond Possibly 50's - 60's
