    About 20" very heavy, crudely made and no markings.

    Seems like it could be homemade, with frog and blade parts from another plane. Are you going to get it in working order, or is it just a curious shelve decoration?
    Measure twice, cut once ... and if that doesn't work try again

      Never seen anything remotely like it. It looks amazing, definitely has a homemade look to it (the body castings actually look forged). If ever you want to get rid of it, just let me know.

            I'm interested in what the bottom looks like? Is it as crude as the top or is it pretty flat?

                      I would have guessed it's made from a chunk of channel iron. I have been tempted to try it in the past.
