    Ultra rare beautiful double planer (are always 1 knife) cooper (already very rare) of artisanal manufacture by the cooper (we suppose). 1st side for the V knife to make the groove that will stop the cover or the bottom of the barrel.

        Most planes of this type came from the factory of D W Barton of Rochester NY. He made many styles of Cooper's tools. Planes, chisels, drawknives etc. That is a prize plane you have. Here is a history of the company.
