Acid and Resin Free Oil

I have a mechanism that calls for lubrication with "acid and resin free oil".

Can anyone provide an example of a readily available product that meets this requirement?

Just to be sure,,,,,you mean acid free oil and resin free oil right?

Corrosive possibilities is the likely answer and there may be more.

Correct. I read it as an oil that is free of both.

Usually the manufacturer will call for a specification. If they don't, call them.

I've had a difficult time getting an answer on a readily available product in Canada I can purchase that meets the requirement above.

Closest I can think might be sewing machine oil? I see a German sewing machine oil that specifically states "acid and resin free"... of course the products I look at here aren't explicit though...

I think some CNC machines use lubricants with a similar spec?

What are those of you with a CNC using for lubrication?

I suggest you contact the marketing rep for Imperial Oil or Suncor.
