i like the guide set up,easy to access and adjust.rund quiet and smooth, cuts nice with the blade that was on it.Seller knew nothing about it,except it's been in his mothers garage for over twenty years.

you should swap out the CFL for an LED
        brighter and more age appropriate

An LED would be more age appropriate?

          In what universe?

Age appropriate would be an Edison lamp

          regards, Rod.

How about less obviously age inappropriate?

Thanks for the comments,I did not realize there was so much interest in light bulbs, lol.( I have more ,if anyone wants pictures)
i will change the bulb,I was just using it,testing to see if the lamp works, and it does. It's powered through the start switch, not sure if that's correct, and I don't like it that way so will be changed,
                .
other than that, there is one knob missing for the lower blade cover.

That's true, however I was thinking more age appropriate for the saw...................Have fun with your saw.......Rod.

Finally a couple days off, hope to have a bit of time to get into the shop, maybe play with the new toy. Have a couple things I want to do before putting the bandsaw to work. Have already decided it's not going into the shed for kindling detail, will keep the king for that for the meantime.perhaps by this time tomorrow,I may have I different light bulb installed.lol
