  • where to buy metal cutting bandsaw blades?

I remember R&D blades were (or still are) highly regarded for wood cutting band saws ,I have a few of them myself and find the quality alright but what about R&D metal cutting blades? has anyone used it? what's your opinion? I just checked their bi-metal blades for my Kalamazoo bandsaw (89" long) is going to cost $37 , much cheaper than Lenox Diemaster 2,
what brand do you like or recommend for cutting metal?
I'd appreciate your thoughts and inputs.

I bought my bi-metal blades from Busy Bee when I bought the saw and haven't worn out the first one yet cutting non-ferrous metals for the most part. BB gets someone like R&D to make most of their blades or at least they did when I bought mine.

I forgot about Busy Bee, I work mainly with aluminum , some brass but lately got into steel so I should be getting blades for cutting softer metal as well .
Thanks Ken for suggesting BB their prices are very reasonable too.

I am a big fan of Lennox for cut-off bandsaw blades, usually a 10-14 varipitch bimetal. For vertical metal cutting, carbon steel blades work fine and for non ferrous metal they are adequate also.
