  • Unisaw table holes

Hey folks I'm trying to figure out the size and pitch for the threaded holes on the back of my Unisaw table.

They are definitely threaded but I cannot determine the size or pitch.
Tried looking in the manual with no success. Likewise Google-fu.

Does anyone have any idea what size they are?

Edit: they are the bolts that hold the old Jetlock fence rails on.
If anyone has a set of these I would be happy to buy them.

Best way sometimes is to grab some bolts and try them. Im assuming its made in the USA ?

It’s a 3/8 x 24 tpi which is a 3/8 fine thread bolt. Personally I Would back up the bolt with a lock washer and nut.
sigpicToday's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut, that held its ground.

          Thanksi
I actually have a set of nuts and bolts (wrong size though) that I was going to use. Problem is the table has to come off to access the back.

I'm pretty sure I have a set with the spacers too but if I were you I would just drill and tap the holes out to 7/16 or 1/2" and then you can just screw them in from the outside. It would be very easy in that cast iron.

Yes, that’s my next option and is the best bet it think.
I’m trying to attach a length of angle iron to the back for:
                A) the end of the Excalibur fence to ride on
                B) provide an attachment point for the side extension table.

That's what I did on my saw that I rebuilt and sold.

Thanks Rubin those are some crazy looking bolts!
I did find some 3/8x24 bolts locally here so I think I'm set.
                      I do appreciate your search!

David that is what was used to attach the round fence bars to older unisaws. # 150 and #152 in the drawings.

Thanks Carlos. I was thinking that had to be the case because of beveled washers.

The reason for my search is so I can install the Excalibur fence I bought for a crazy good price on sale at KMS.
