We all have had challenges with the return spring on the Beaver tail guard. Mainly trying to find them or something similar.
I have contacted a manufacturer of springs and have gotten a quote on the spring being reproduced for me.

My question to the group is: How many of you guys and gals would be interested in purchasing one or two of the springs?

The quote from the company is for a minimum quantity of 50 pcs at $10.50 each my cost/your cost.
    Shipping extra to your QTH.

    Is there any interest?
    Thanks

Can't speak for others, but after restoring 2 of these, neither with original springs... I was able to find/use a generic spring found @ Princess Auto/hardware store.
I can't remember where for sure, and may not have been identical springs, but this was 3-5years ago and I've never heard back from the new owners of either machine.
    [insert something witty here]

So if no one is interested then we will let the issue for replacement springs drop. I've got orders for approx. 3 at this time.
We'll give it another week and see.
          Thanks
