  • New saw sharing. Oliver 88-d.

    Hi everyone.

I just got a new saw that was buried in the back of a retired cabinet makers shop and hasn’t been fired for quite a few years. I was buying something else and the person added into the mix for a price I couldn’t resist so I went for it. It was a bit of a gamble because I got it shipped about 6 hours from me without ever seeing It but I got it hooked up to my 600v and it started up right away.

I am trying to track down a couple of pieces, mainly the arm for the blade guard but I could make something if need be.

I’ll get a video unwrapping it up here with a little walk through if anyone is interested.

Also if anyone has any experience finding out what year it is I’ll get the serial number put up tomorrow when I’m in the shop. In the meantime here are some pics.
