  • 30" Yates American jointer

    Thought this might be cool: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yates-Americ...item4d13a78202 I've never seen a 30" jointer before, this is rare.

    That is one battleship of a jointer.
    Saw one similar at a members place on my ruckering and swapping trip through Ontario in September. Except he had added a custom power feed.

      That could only be justified if you had a 30" planer. No problem, just look in the Swap Meet at my 30" CMC.

          or you could get a German Rex 34" wide with well supported tables

          and sorry Art but you need the 6 foot planner to go with this one. look at the bed on this machine its a power track to pull glue lams through.

                  Did you notice the whole rig is mounted on a turn table in the floor, like a locomotive yard. Turn the machine rather than move the lumber. Interesting electrical and dust hook up.
