  • Slice of a tree

    Hi everyone,
I need a slice of a tree for a little project of mine. Maybe 8-10" in diameter and maybe 1/2" thick. I wouldn't have thought it to be difficult, but I'm having trouble finding one. Does anyone here have an idea where I could find something like that in Vancouver, BC?
    Thanks in advance!

You could try one of the companies that does tree maintenance/ removal. Give the guys working on a job a few bucks or a few coffees. You realize the thin round with likely split like crazy as it dries?

Good idea!! I was kind of hoping it would be a product I could buy somewhere for a few bucks, but maybe not.
I was planning to remove the center to be left with just a ring. Do you think it'll still split?

More than a few bucks but amazon has these, and they won't split.
