    Those type of bowls are made from just flat boards that are cut into glued up rings cut on a ringmaster They are actually a few of my fairly basic bowls . .Reason they are made in that time frame is because one afternoon I cut the boards into rings on my ringmaster lathe and glued and clamped them overnight for the glue to cure .. Next day I put them on my regular lathe and sanded them down and finished them . The colourful panels are nothing but left over thin panels glued onto the main board .The panels were left over pieces from previously making dizzy/vortex bowls as shown below .

    Trying once again to post photos here. Started making these three bowls yesterday afternoon and finished them this afternoon. Two 9.5" and one 11"
    Sorry , just couldn't make them post ..

    Tried too many times and had to give up . Sorry about that .
