  • Outboard support

I am looking for the outboard support for a Général Drummond 260, since my accident I don't feel comfortable using the lathe like the way I used to,I think it will be safer if I turned outboard, my hand does not close properly and according to the specialist it will never again.
    Merci

Forgot to write that my lathe is already on 4 inches blocks.

If you know a welder they are pretty easy to make. I have made several. Unfortunately they don’t come up for sale used very often.

Of all the ones I looked at this Vicmarc one solves most of the vibration problems that occur with bolt on extension ways. Also does away with the need for another higher banjo. At around $500 US it's not cheap but might be a good model to build one from using the same ideas.
