Fruitwood is almost always tough, and sometimes rewarding, once dry.

I've been asked why turn poor wood? but then I do, some of the best turning I see is of wood that is less than perfect so I am now of a mind that it is up to me to make the best of the wood, I have quite a few pieces I have put aside in the too hard basket waiting for my imagination to kick in of course it just takes longer to deal with them but then the rewards are greater.
Anyone can turn great wood it takes more to make something out of the defected wood.
Great work Jacques keep up the good work.
