    Another teacher's gift!

I had one left to make for Mrs Amélie so I took the day to start the project!

Last night, I draw my idea and decided to make another box with a straight line design. I also made my first inserts in the joints! The wood is padouk and maple. For the legs, I decided to glue two pieces and show the end grain on the side to make a nice look, well for my eyes...!

I took 10 minutes to make a jig for the inserts.

Still have to glue the legs and oil the box after diner!

    Here are my steps!

    Thanks Jason!

In the last weeks, i've been looking for good chisels to and found a few old E.A. Berg on kijiji. I also purchased the set of 4 Stanley Sweet Hart from Lee Valley plus an 1/8 ". Love them!

Looks great. I like the feathers used in the corners. I also appreciate all the projects you've been posting, fun to read and inspiring... I've been researching chisles alot lately haha.
