Thanks for the comments. The table is 18 in by 51 in , 36 in talll. The size was determined by the space between the windows.

    Coffee Service table

I recently completed a kitchen for a client who wanted a separate serving area for her coffee machine. The kitchen is painted cloud white and she picked the stain to match. The top is granite and is the same as her kitchen cabinets. I bought the legs from Woodturners Inc. in Rockwood. They are a paint grade leg. They are maple and the mineral stains determine paint grade. Mineral stains on a dark stain almost become invisible. The bottom shelf has a 1 x 3 skirt wrapped around a piece of maple VC plywood. Not really practical to make the shelf from solid material considering the seasonal movement of wood and the effect of it between the legs. The relief lines are something I do a lot of. I use a very small router 45 degree bit. It does make it look somewhat commercially manufactured but I like the detail and it saves sanding to have the glued joint disappear.
