I guess it's usually best to stop and finish anouther day
gathered everything I needed to start the kitchen island build I agreed to do,and went at it.plan was to prefab the plywood carcus,so I could paint the back panel in the second story of my shop, temporally assemble and then build the face frames, end panels, drawers etc with the temporarily assembled carcus there to ensure a good fit.worked into the evening, had all the pieces cut and dadoed etc.
thought may as well take anouther
hour and assemble to ensue everything fit
grabbed the screws and glue went at it,yup, everything fits nice.
wait,I wasn't suposta use glue on that!
    ug
at least I didn't assemble it upstairs where it would be captured!

    Re: working tired

    Al,

The good news is that you did not injure yourself, as often happens when we are tired and try to do that last "one more thing".

Looks like you will be able to keep moving forward in spite of this "unplanned construction step".

    Regards,

    J.

Maybe you can pass some of the blame on to the DST timechange.
But I strongly second Jacques' sentiment - never work when you are tired and it could have been a lot, lot worse.
