Depending on where you are in Mississauga, BC SAW may not be very convenient (they are on Evans Ave off Browns Line). However, I believe you can drop off your blades at most RONA stores, for Friday pickup and following week returns, to BC SAW. I know it works this way in Oakville.
Does anyone know a good place to have table saw blades sharpened in Mississauga?
Thanks...Steve
Just went to BC Saw, now sold and under name of NapGladu on building. Still at 222 Evans east of Kipling with same phone # 416-251-2236. Took 4 - 10 inch carbide tipped blades and paid between $ 10 - 15 each depending on number of teeth. Do not know what Rona charges for their service, but blades from Rona are done at same location.
BC saw are one of the places to avoid if you want to keep your blades for the long term. They can sharpen them but like a lot of sharpeners remove way to much carbide at every sharpening. As Glenn suggested if you can drop your blades off at Exotic Woods they are picked up weekly by Leitz from Kitchener. Leitz blades are made in Germany and second to none IMHO. You will see a noticeable difference in the sharpening quality and how long your blades last. I previously had to many blades sharpened to death by BC Saw or NapGladu as they are called now.
