Re: OSB Plywood table or workbench top

So far I have used a few coats of high gloss poly, all around so as to minimize any warping. But, edge grained OSB doesn't warp much (why it's used in I beams).

Also, construction OSB and ply are relatively water repellant, due to their glue and high pressure construction. But once sealed, I doubt that will be much of an issue.

I plan on using it as my actual woodworking bench, and one of the 3 pine rails will be used either for dogs or for a t track and a quick release end vise.

I'll post more photos of the progress!

Looks cool. What kind of bench will sit under it? Do you plan on sealing it somehow? Epoxy might be a good choice.

OSB Plywood table or workbench top

    Good day all!

I just completed a basic top for a table or, in my case, a workbench. I had a lot of narrow scraps of construction lumber, and wanted to do something with it other than throw it to the curb.

Here is what I came up with:

I feel it's a good use of otherwise trashed lumber.

    Thanks for looking!
