  • Pipe size question

    Hey there!

I just managed to grab a used King 3hp 1900cfm Dust Collector for a low low price... Its has a 3 x 4" adapter covering an 8" port.

For now, I only have my table saw (Rockwell Unisaw, 3hp), and am building a overhead dust collector for it.

What size of pipe should I use? I have less than a 25 feet run from DC to TS. 8 inch trunk, split to 6" to cabinet and 4" to the top collector? or 6" trunk, 5" down and 4" up?

Eventually I will add some ports for the SCMS station and the future planer and jointer.

    thanks

6-4 or 5-4 are both fine. Lots of guys use both. I have 6-4 and it works great.
