Just a cautious point: each filter has a direction of air flow (in-to-out or out-to-in). It is supposed to be used in the direction it is specified.

So, if I understand you correctly, a filter is installed in a container and the exhaust air comes out of the middle of the canister ?

        Not so with the Wynn's

You are right Don, with the Wynn filters that come with Clearvue the (dirty) air is supposed to blow from inside of the canister to outside.
So you can't do what Kevin suggested with them.

Not totally correct Mo. The nano fibre elements maybe manufactured differently, but a number of Clear Vue owners have them flowing from the outside in.
I questioned Camfill-Farr on this when I got this. They stated that out to in was traditional, but for a good cyclone, it didn't matter. The CV cyclones do not pass much particulate, so the focus on regular cleaning is not a big deal as with other cyclones.
Most of the industrial cleaners have a spray head that runs up and down the inside, washing everything to the outside.

That is an excellent point to bring to our attention. Thank you.
