Smile Where are all the Old woodworking shows

Hello all...My first post here...I'm a semi retired guy and now I'm back to my old hobby doing wood work...any way...I'm wondering where the old woodworking shows are that we use to see on TV Sat. and Sun....one of my favourites...the wood wright shop...this old house etc. maybe these high tech satellites don't pick them up

The I can't speak to your area, but here in Ottawa the woodwright's shop (and all the other woodworking PRS shows) is on Saturdays at noon. It doesn't show as much during the summer though.

They are out there but it seems not in a convenient time slot. Most good show on HGTV and DIY as well as PBS are being replaced with "Decorating with a Doiley" or some other "Creative Designing with Tacky " show.

Ever wonder why those designing shows have you paint bold colors and then a Flip=it show has you paint everything white so people will like it enough to buy....

You are right and I agree,

WNED Channel 17 from Buffalo has Woodwright Shop on Fridays at 2:30pm then Saturday there is Norm and all the TOH crews starting at 5:00 pm until 7:00pm. Don't know what the cable or satellite channel would be but you should be able to find it. Also you can watch Woodwright Shop here:

It certainly is. If you get cable or satellite, find out which PBS station your carrier has (if any). They go check that pbs stations schedule, they should have one on-line...
