Another vote for the Zem's had mine for a few years and love them. I'm one of those who likes to take the hearing protection off when the tools are off.
I like mine as well except, as my top continues to thin there is less to hold them in place - I usually wear a cap. And if you bend down and knock the frame against something hard or touch the frame of a running tool, the sensation is akin to the feeling you get from the coarse bit in the dentists drill.
That's right Don, I hate hitting them for that sound. I Likley hit them more then most because I let mine hang downward. The nice thing is that if I do decide to leave them on I can still hear others or listen to the radio. I shoot skeet and have a set for the range too.
