    Default Corvette Restoration

A little over 10 years ago i gave my son my 1969 Corvette Stingray for his 18 th birthday. At that time i had the car completely dismantled and i had the engine rebuilt .
Now after 8 years of the car sitting in storage my son wants to find someone to finish restoring it and put it all back together .
I have looked on the Internet but am having no luck finding anyone one . Any help would be greatly appreciated .
My son lives in Belwood so he is hoping to find someone within a hour or so .

Have you looked at Legendary Motorcars

Probably expensive, but also pretty good if you want a really well done restoration.

With car show season coming up you may want to attend and ask fellow Vette owners.

You might also look around this site and see if they can point you in the right direction. http://www.corvetteclubofontario.com/index.htm

It'll also depend on what you are looking for ... a quick re-assemble or a complete 'finish'

Thanks Bill and Andrew . My son is wanting to make the car look new again so he plans on spending a fair bit of money . I already sand blasted ,painted , bagged and tagged a lot of parts when i had it . There is still a fair bit to do including removing the body and sand blasting and painting the frame . There is very little body work to do . He also wants to put the original side exhaust on too .

Please make sure that your 28 yr old son DOES NOT tell my 18 yr old son what he got for his 18th birthday. :-)

My son is now 28 years old . I,m glad he waited 10 years to drive this thing , it,s a little on the zippy side with a 400 hp motor . He has already owned 4 new vehicles in the last 10 years . He drives them for a couple years then trades them in .
