Thread: An infrequent visitor

    Default An infrequent visitor

Sorry the focus isn't better, but I'm perched at the top of the step ladder under the light on the garage with my ridiculous little point and shoot camera. 7:30 this morning. It's actually the size of my hand or bigger. She looks a little beat up.

    She is still loverly!

I keep saying that I want a camera that I can focus too...I hate it when it will not focus on what I want it to see....it's right there in the center of the frame ....why can't it see it????
How hard can it be? Guys do it everyday

Here is a picture of a Luna moth I took a few years back. Fortunately this was a little closer to the ground so I didn't have to worry about hanging on and using that darn little point and shoot.IMG_1442.jpg

Oh, so she was a he. Still beautiful. And only one week of life! Wow.
I do have a camera that I can focus, but I was heading out to golf, ride was enroute, and the short ladder was at the front of the three of them. Camera was set on macro, Steve, but my arms just weren't long enough to get so close for the thing to properly focus.
Johansmyth, that is a fantastic shot. What a vibrant green.
    Thanks for looking.
